John Paul Jones was a Revolutionary War hero known as the father of the U.S. Navy. In the fall of 1778, during the height of the American Revolution, Jones was in France trying to get a new warship to use in the fight against the British. The French government offered him a heavy ship named the Neptune they had captured, but Jones deemed it to be too slow. So, he wrote a letter to French aristocrat Jacques-Donatien Le Ray de Chaumont. In a letter dated November 16, 1778, Jones told the French nobleman: “I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast, for I intend to go in harm’s way.”

Racing Snail (Bi Luo Chun) is a very famous aromatic light green tea; so aromatic, in fact, it was once called “Astounding Fragrance” (Xia Sha Ren Xiang) among those who originally harvested it. In order to bring about such fragrance, our cultivators plant peach, apricot & plum trees among the nearby growing tea trees. The downy covered, tender tea tree buds absorb the aromas of the blooming fruit trees. The delicate leaves, which are jade in color with tinges of white, are harvested then skillfully hand-crafted into a spiral shape, resembling a green snail.
