Once upon a dream, there was a kind and gentle songstress who loved to dance her way through the forest with her adorable animal friends. She woke up one morning not feeling like herself; her throat was sore, her hair appeared lifeless, and a few nasty pimples decided to wreak havoc on her beautiful face. Something had to be done, as she had big plans to pick berries and debut a new song to her cute critters that day. She thought about it quietly as she sipped her usual cup of morning black tea and admired her rose bushes through the kitchen window. She then suddenly felt an urge to grab a few rose petals and add them to her tea. She chuckled at the idea, but ultimately decided to give it a try. What she discovered changed everything. Not only was it wonderfully aromatic, it also alleviated her sore throat and reduced the inflammation she was experiencing almost immediately! She happily skipped into the forest that very day…and skipped right into the handsome prince she would eventually marry. It was safe to say she found her new daily tea. After a short time, her hair became gorgeously thick and luscious, her skin cleared and developed a radiant glow, and bad moods became a thing of the past. Upon further examination by the village doctor, the rosy concoction was found to contain loads of vitamin C (among many other essential vitamins), and so it ultimately became known for its healing properties. The villagers named the tea “Briar Rose” after the lovely lady who introduced it to them…and so the story goes.
